On Friday, June 16th, 2023, we hosted our Care Close to Home Classic Charity Golf Tournament at the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club. Proceeds from the charity tournament went towards purchasing new Emergency Room equipment.
The tournament raised an astonishing $83,957, which will help to pay for two blanket warmers, two rapid infusers/warmers and two supply carts for the Emergency Room.
Funds were raised through golf registrations, sponsorships, auction items and general donations.
This year’s tournament received support from over sixty-five sponsors and in-kind partners.
The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation thanks all of the generous sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the charity tournament.
